SYNOPSIS

For the past two decades, Eric and Jaci Hasemeyer have committed themselves to adopting kids out of the child welfare system. Since their ten adopted children cope with a variety of mental, physical, and emotional issues, the Hasemeyers face significant challenges on a daily basis. 17-year-old Jonah suffers from serious mental and physical disabilities and has a difficult time fitting in; instead he finds comfort and strength by channeling Indiana Jones.  Meanwhile, 13-year-old Isaac wrestles with the abuse he and his younger brother Gabe experienced in their first foster home. Tirelessly, Eric and Jaci do their best to parent each of their deserving children and keep their promise of a forever home.

Forever Home is a short documentary (TRT:13:40) and was produced as a USC senior thesis film.
